Children’s Services closes more local day care centers in Bronx, Manhattan

Concern and anger. Those are the feelings expressed by the parents of the more than 300 children who could soon be left without day care centers.

At a time when thousands of children are on waiting lists for a place in city-funded day care centers, the Administration for Children’s Services is closing two more – the ones that serve these kids. One is in the South Bronx and the other in Manhattan’s East Village.
